MIDDLE ATLANTIC PRODUCTS DEBUTS DESIGNER INSPIRED ULTRA QUIET FAN PANEL FEATURING REMOTE MONITORING AND SLEEK CUSTOM HOME AESTHETICS

Ultra Quiet Rackmount Equipment Cooling system enables electronic systems to operate quietly and efficiently in residential environments.

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, September 9, 2005 - Providing custom home integrators with a smart, highly aesthetic solution for electronics system thermal management in applications where fan noise is not an option, Middle Atlantic Products today introduced its new Designer Inspired Ultra Quiet Fan Panel at the 2005 CEDIA Expo. With an intelligent digital processor that varies fan speed proportionally to internal cabinet or equipment temperature and a remote notification system of fan failure or overheating situations, custom home integrators can now monitor fan performance regularly, troubleshoot easier and address excessive heat before it becomes a problem.

The near-silent functionality of the Designer Inspired Ultra Quiet Fan Panel makes it ideal for screening room and media room environments, letting the client enjoy the media experience without the disruption of noisy fans.

An attractive black or silver anodized faceplate features a subdued blue LED display that shows the enclosure's temperature, monitors fan speed and automatically scrolls fan failure and over-temperature alert messages. The compact, 2-rackspace fan panel features 4 ultra quiet fans that will never emit more than 27 dB of noise yet has a powerful 100 CFM free air rating.

The UQFP features a remote sensor that monitors enclosure temperature and built-in intelligence that varies fan speed in direct proportion to that temperature level, ensuring fans run only when necessary, minimizing noise and preserving fan life. In addition to its intelligent proportional fan speed functionality, the Designer Inspired Ultra Quiet Fan Panel's smart integral notification system provides remote alerts when high heat levels occur or if a fan stops operating. The UQFP can also communicate remotely with third-party control systems via standard dry contact closures.

Each UQFP unit comes complete with 9' temperature sensor with wire ties and is programmed in a Fahrenheit scale standard that can be set to Celsius.
