MIDDLE ATLANTIC PRODUCTS DEBUTS TALLER SRSR FOR HOME ENCLOSURE SYSTEM INTEGRATION, ACCESS

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, September 8, 2005 - Providing custom home integrators with even more latitude to design and install larger home electronics systems, Middle Atlantic Products today debuted its new taller SRSR Series, rotating, sliding rail system. The new 25-30 useable space SRSR models join the original 12 to 24 space models in providing unprecedented rear access to equipment connections in millwork, cabinets, and flush in-wall applications.

The innovative SRSR extends and rotates to locking points at 0°, 60° and 90° for easy installation and servicing of equipment. Timesaving installation features include a removable rack frame that allows in-shop integration and on-site installation of equipment. The SRSR also features an integral self-centering base for simple system alignment within a cabinet opening as well as rackrail marked in rackspace increments for quick equipment alignment.

In addition, easily accessible mounting holes allow preliminary mounting with the system in the closed position. Effective cable management is made possible by using a rear cable support in conjunction with cable lacing bars on the full-height rear rackrail.

The SRSR rotating sliding rail system is available in 19" or 23" of useable depth with sizes ranging from 12 to 30 rackspaces, which are specified upon ordering. The EIA-compliant system can accommodate up to a maximum 300 pounds of equipment.
