Advanced Video Surveillance of New Jersey once again turns to Middle Atlantic Products for versatile mounting solution.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, April 5, 2006 — Exhibiting the advanced functionality, robust construction and engineering flexibility necessary for electronics enclosures in today’s security market, Middle Atlantic Products has provided Advanced Video Surveillance of New Jersey with a WRK Series enclosure for installation at the Cranford, NJ police department.

To effectively monitor a new, five-story parking facility, the Cranford Police Department needed to expand their existing security monitoring system. The parking facility, which serves as a commuter lot close to the local train station, has 60 cameras that feed four digital video recorders and rely on four Altronix rack mount power supplies, as well as an uninterrupted power source. In providing the department with a solution that would maximize space and allow for easy access and maintenance, Advanced Video Surveillance chose a Middle Atlantic Products WRK Series enclosure to house the necessary equipment.

“The Middle Atlantic Products WRK Series racks always meet the demands we put on them, no matter what the application,” said Michael Riotto of Advanced Video. “They are extremely well made, the company delivers them very quickly upon order and their flexibility allows us to use them in any number of installations from schools to corporations to today’s state-of-the-art police departments.”

The WRK Series is a gangable, wide, multi-bay rack that is ideal for accommodating the large cable bundles found in most security installations. The rack also features two extra wide pairs of numbered 10-32 threaded rackrail with cable pass-through openings in the face that simplified the cable management and saved Advanced Video Surveillance valuable time during system integration. Its fully welded construction, including laser cut internal steel braces, 14 gauge steel tops and bottoms and 16 gauge seamless steel sides, made the WRK enclosure ideal for tamper-resistant installation within the Cranford police department. The WRK is also UL Listed and seismic certified to provide assurance that it will perform safely and reliably in demanding environments.

Advanced Video Surveillance is a high-end security systems design and integration firm that services high profile clients throughout the New York and New Jersey area. Advanced Video Surveillance orders the Middle Atlantic Products’ WRK Series pre-assembled, and then loads the racks as specified in their facility to meet customer specifications. Once the racks are completed, they are transported to the site for installation. With an efficient rail system and advanced cable management features, the WRK provides Advanced Video Surveillance with a versatile solution in a single, stand-alone design.
