ORLANDO, FLORIDA, March 15, 2007 - Providing AV integrators with an easier way to order fully integrated enclosures and take advantage of significant cost, freight and labor savings, Middle Atlantic Products today introduced its new line of Configured AV Enclosures at NSCA Expo 2007. Each Configured AV Enclosure is preconfigured with Middle Atlantic Products' most commonly requested thermal, cable and power management solutions and can be ordered using a single SKU.
Middle Atlantic Products new Configured AV Enclosures allow integrators to choose between one of two enclosures: Middle Atlantic Products' MRK gangable enclosures or ERK stand alone enclosures. With its preconfigured design, each enclosure is optimized to address the essentials of any fully-integrated enclosure system, including: Thermal: Configured AV Enclosures are designed to facilitate active thermal management with an integrated fan top and rear door bottom vent; Cable: Middle Atlantic Products' new Vertical Lacer Strips, horizontal lacer bars and Velcro cable management straps provide a myriad of options for cable management and maintaining cable integrity; and Power: a 20 Amp, 20 outlet power strip or two 10 Amp, 10 outlet power strips ensure adequate power outlets are available throughout the enclosure.

Each model also includes a number of essential accessories, including solid front and configurable rear door, 100 10-32 threaded rackscrews and leveling feet. MRK models are available with or without sides, can be configured with optional side panels or ganging hardware, and come in racking heights of 44 spaces. ERK models are available in racking heights of 35, 40 or 44 spaces.
