Middle Atlantic Products introduces company's strongest rackshelf with front-to-rear coverage and an adjustable design that makes installation a snap.
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, June 19, 2007 - Providing AV integrators with an easy-to-install rackshelf that is both versatile and heavy duty, Middle Atlantic Products today introduced the new VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelf at InfoComm 2007. The VSA Series Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelf features the highest weight capacity of any Middle Atlantic Products shelf and telescopes to provide full front-to-rear depth, allowing for installation without the need to remove components that have already been racked.
With its ability to telescope to reach rear rackrail, the VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelf can be easily installed in any Middle Atlantic Products enclosure with only a single rackspace opening. This unique feature eliminates the need to remove pre-installed components, saving integrators valuable time, and setting the VSA rackshelf apart from other four-point shelves that require between eight and ten spaces for installation. The VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelf also features a weight capacity of 500lbs making it Middle Atlantic Products' strongest rackshelf yet and ideal for heavier components as well as multiple uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).

"The VSA's telescoping design allows integrators to quickly install a shelf without having to remove other racked components. VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelves are also designed so they can be flipped over to provide increased usable width and enhanced functionality."
Consistent with Middle Atlantic Products' approach to application-driven engineering, the VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelf addresses the essentials of any fully-integrated enclosure system, including: Thermal: VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelves are fully vented for superior passive thermal management; Cable: VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelves feature 1 1/4" slots along the shelf side to allow integrators to strap equipment to the shelf, if needed; and Space: with usable depths from 16" up to 44", VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelves offer the greatest usable depth in its class.
VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelves are constructed of hemmed 16-gauge steel and finished in a durable black powder coat. VSA Adjustable Telescoping Rackshelves are available in two adjustable depths: 16" - 26" and 27" - 44".
