Fairfield, NJ––Middle Atlantic Products, an innovative partner to the specification community, is the first rack manufacturer to provide BIM (Building Information Modeling) feature-rich 3D models of its racks, cabinets and enclosures in AutoDesk's Revit platform.

Revit drawings help to identify problems resulting from objects occupying the same physical space, which in turn saves significant time and money during construction. Because of this, Revit drawings are rapidly becoming the new standard demanded by architects of consultants.

The Revit family files (.rfa) offered by Middle Atlantic Products have been optimized for use in Revit, and offer convenient features, including small file sizes and the ability to select the appropriate level of detail.

Besides Revit files, Middle Atlantic Products offers a comprehensive suite of system design resources and tools, including RackTools, a free layout and specification package that also exports to AutoCAD; Comprehensive CAD Technical specification drawings; 3D AutoCAD files; CAD Block Library, and Visio Blocks.
