Fairfield, NJ RackTools 3.5, the free layout and specification software package which includes all products from Middle Atlantic, has been enhanced with new shapes for user-defined components and greater drawing export flexibility.

The software now allows users to export a complete drawing to AutoCAD, saving them significant amounts of time. In addition, RackTools 3.5 now supports shapes for user-defined equipment including amplifiers, receivers, and DVRs. An expanded library of RSH Series custom rackshelf shapes is now available with new single, dual and triple LCD shapes that provide more accurate drawing capability.

The new RackTools 3.5 features smaller file sizes and enhanced navigation. It allows users to easily output AutoCAD drawings in 1:1 ratio, another significant time saving feature. User created components can now be shared among many different machines not specific to any particular customer type.

Designed to increase efficiency for any type of business, RackTools 3.5 s familiar drag-and-drop interface enables engineers and salespeople to easily specify Middle Atlantic Products and create accurate rack elevation, plan side and rear view drawings, purchase orders and quotes in a matter of minutes.

To see these latest updates, simply open RackTools (when an internet connection is present) and accept the updates.
