Atlanta, GA—The new PDC Series Power Strip from Middle Atlantic Products uses a simple and cost-effective contact closure system for outlet cycling while providing power distribution within racks.

The PDC Power Strip was developed to provide a practical method for remote reboot of components when a control system is in place. No computer is required because of this seamless integration with existing control systems, as well as remote power switches.

For greater protection, the PDC Series provides built-in, 2-stage surge suppression with notification. Two models are available, with either 2 or 6 contact-closure controlled outlets, giving contractors the flexibility to choose how many components to switch or leave “always on”.

One application for the PDC Series is to power the control system from the “always on” outlet and connect any equipment that may require occasional cycling to the 6 contact-controlled outlets. This is ideal for internet routers, satellite boxes and computers.
