features than those found in Middle Atlantic's flagship DWR Series.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, May 6, 2001 - Underscoring the strength and flexibility
of its design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, DataTel today
announced the BICSI introduction of its LWR Series of wall mount enclosure
systems. The six-model line, which features a new approach to design
and manufacturing, brings DataTel quality and reliability to a wider
range of applications that do not require the complete set of features
incorporated into the company's flagship DWR Series wall mount enclosure
systems.
"The LWR Series is the answer to requests for an affordably priced
wall rack that delivers the performance quality and reliability of the
DWR Series but with a more defined set of features," DataTel Marketing

standards of the DWR Series, the LWR Series incorporates changes in
design, material finishing and feature sets that enable us to deliver
a more affordably priced enclosure series that is perfect for small
sound, paging or networking applications without compromising on basic

The LWR wall rack series features a rugged min-spangle galvanized steel
finish that is more durable than a painted finish, and is designed specifically
for installation in low profile environments, such as service entries,
wiring closets and equipment rooms. Additionally, the galvanized finish
allows the LWR Series to blend with other items commonly found in these
locations such as electrical boxes and conduits.
Available pre-configured with or without the solid front door installed,
the LWR Series requires no assembly, and features a full 20" usable
depth. An extended front door lock-catch provides for more rail to door
clearance, which is ideal for accommodating components with large handles
or knobs. Additionally, the series features a unique integral bottom
guide that automatically compensates for walls that are not plumb, facilitating
smooth mating between the center section and backpan, and ensuring flush
wall mounting regardless of the wall's condition.
The front-and-center section accessible LWR Series enclosures can accommodate
up to 200 pounds of equipment, and all models offer a keylock in the
center section. Trade-sized 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1-1/2"
electrical knockouts are provided on both top and bottom.
The DataTel LWR Series is available for immediate delivery in three
sizes (10, 12 & 16 space - all 20" usable depth).
