EXTRA CHARGE’ CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS TIME- AND COST-SAVING VALUE-ADDED
FEATURES ON CONSOLES & RACK SYSTEMS
RIVERDALE, NEW JERSEY, October 14, 2002 – Highlighting the time-
and cost-saving features integral to its line of security consoles and
low-voltage equipment mounting solutions, Middle Atlantic Products recently
announced the launch of its No Extra Charge Campaign. The campaign brings
to light such unique features as numbered rackrail spaces and pre-installed
washers on threaded rackscrews; features that effectively save security
installers and integrators time and labor in the field.
By integrating numbered rackrail spaces on its lines of Quiet-Cool and
Convective Series Consoles as well as all of its welded floor-standing
enclosures, Middle Atlantic makes it quick and easy for the installer
to position equipment for installation in rack enclosures. Meanwhile,
pre-installed washers on all of its 10-32 threaded rackscrews eliminates
the menial, mind-numbing task of applying washers to hundreds of screws
before mounting equipment.
In addition, Middle Atlantic Products offers agency compliancy such
as UBC and IBC seismic rating and UL Listing on a number of its products,
answering the demand for the growing number of applications that require
such certifications.
An important additional No Extra Charge feature includes integral grounding/bonding
studs on welded consoles and vertical floor-standing racks, allowing
equipment to be electrically grounded and bonded in accordance with
NEBS and NEC standards.
The No Extra Charge campaign demonstrates Middle Atlantic’s commitment
to designing products that simplify the job of the installer and end
